Fresh off of a sold out final performance in Phoenix, Sedona's own decker. is rolling it back for a hometown, closeout show dubbed "The Final Final Show."
After nearly two decades of writing, recording, and touring under the moniker decker., Brandon Decker will bring the project to a close with one more performance on Saturday, July 11 at Sedona boutique The Dragon's Den.
For longtime listeners, the arc has been well documented, from the early, relentless touring years through the expansive, psych-leaning turns of Snake River Blues and beyond, to the more recent introspective cycle of Ouroboros, a record reflecting on endings, renewal, and the circular nature of existence. Across eight albums, Decker’s work has consistently returned to core tensions such as seeming failure and transcendence, searching and surrender, and collapse and rebirth.
Critically, decker. has remained a singular presence in the Arizona music landscape. Glide Magazine declared Decker “one of the country’s most criminally underrated songwriters,” while Phoenix New Times noted a “vision unlike any other artist these days.” Those descriptors have held steady even as the sound evolved, from desert folk beginnings into more expansive, psychedelic territory, and back again toward something that captures the full range of the project’s seasons.
Billed as “The Last Last Show,” the July 11 performance is equal parts retrospective and closing gesture. It offers an opportunity to experience the material one last time in the setting where many of these songs first took root in front of Arizona audiences. The band will be joined by special guests Sierra Rae and Will Pfrang
